I love pink, as many of you know (and have seen through out my website), and October is full of pretty pink reminders that it is NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH.

You should be performing a breast self-exam every month to ensue you have a good understanding of what, exactly, your breasts feel like, and how they change through-out your cycle.  If you are unaware of how to correctly check your breasts, head over to The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc  website (among many out there!) and click here to choose from 3 simple ways for you to get to know your body better.

This article, written by Bif Naked for the Globe & Mail, is a compelling take on breast cancer from a first hand perspective.  If you are looking for more information, such as rates of cancer, experimental drugs, mammograms, race and cancer, and a slew of other informative articles about breast cancer, head over to the New York Times here.

Remind yourself, your daughters, your mothers, your aunts, your wives, your partners, your grandmothers, your friends, your colleagues…everybody’s ta tas are precious!  But their lives are even more so…

Enjoy your moments with the ones who make your memories.
